Chimneys and Flues

Installation

We do not have an installation service. However, these stoves are relatively easy to install. Some people do fit them while others prefer to use artisans. To find a suitable artisan please try our Links Page.

Chimney Parts

In France you are required to have a flue liner and all the necessary parts can be purchased from most French DIY stores or builders merchants e.g. Castorama, Bircomarche, Point P, etc

We do not supply chimney parts as these can be purchased cheaper than we can supply them.

Hunter Stoves

It is a requirement in France for chimneys to be swept every year. Please note that all Hunter stoves feature a removable throat plate (excluding clip-in boiler options) and damper, giving full and easy access for sweeping the chimney from within the stove. Many other makes require the stove to be removed.
